What goes into the design
- Load and component sizing — protection devices, conductors, and power supplies sized for the actual connected load rather than copied from the last job.
- Thermal management — heat load calculated and ventilation or cooling specified, which matters in Philippine ambient conditions and unconditioned plant rooms.
- Enclosure selection — ingress protection and material chosen for the installed environment, including humid, dusty, coastal, and washdown areas.
- Segregation and noise control — power and signal separation, shielding, and earthing so analog instrument signals stay usable next to drives.
- Layout for maintenance — component access, wire routing, spare capacity, and terminal arrangement planned for the technician, not just for the drawing.
- Labelling and documentation — consistent tagging and as-built schematics handed over so the panel remains maintainable after we leave.
